Olivia opened The Walnut Grove in 2017 after the birth of her first child. She now has three children and still loves what she does everyday. She loves the dynamic, ever changing creativity of working with children and spends a large amount of her free time devising interesting ways to connect concepts or create accessible, inventive, and healthy meals. She has a BA in Anthropology from UCLA and a Permaculture certificate from Merritt College. She loves to garden, ceramics, and occasionally shoots photographs professionally in her free time.

Leslie is the magical favorite. She has a slow approach with connecting with children that is long lasting and extremely effective. She connects with all the children in a way that is memorable for all. She is a precise artist and has a finesse and ability to be detailed oriented but also walk the children through a process. She is both firm and loving and has an intuitive teaching method. She has an early childhood degree from SF State. She has been with almost six years She loves going to baseball games, playing golf, and hopes to move forward in her education with children.

Carla is akin to a calm grandmother. She is patient and connects with the children in a quiet way that is loving and tranquil, that puts the children at ease. She loves to watch the children dance and is our resident organizer. She has been with us for seven years and just had her first child.
